These series summarize LME cash-settlement benchmarks as monthly averages published by the World Bank. They are not a live LME feed, individual futures contracts, or physical supply quotations. Daily changes are not available from this dataset.
Used railway rails, copper scrap and other physical products are quoted to their own specification, condition and delivery terms.
Source & publication schedule
World Bank Commodity Price Data (Pink Sheet). Prices are published monthly, with a reporting lag. The server retrieves the latest linked workbook directly from the World Bank. A 15-minute runtime cache limits repeated downloads; the next page load after expiry checks the source again. Failed refreshes show “Data temporarily unavailable” rather than expired prices.

Provider: World Bank Pink Sheet. Market: London Metal Exchange (LME). These are named workbook series, not tradable ticker symbols, futures contracts, CFDs or indices. Publication is monthly with a variable reporting lag, not a fixed-minute delayed feed. The current source date and reference month are shown above. The page requests data on opening; there is no continuous browser polling.
